What we hold, why, and for how long.
License plate and issuing jurisdiction, the unit a vehicle is registered to, the dates it's registered for, and who registered it. For people with accounts: an email address and a password.
No location tracking, no cameras, no automatic plate reading, no payment details from guests. A guest registering a vehicle doesn't create an account and isn't asked for anything beyond a plate.
Expired guest registrations are deleted automatically — 90 days by default, and each community can set its own period. When a registration is deleted, the vehicle record goes with it if nothing else references it. Plate data is regulated in some states, and a smaller database is a smaller problem for everyone.
Each community's data is separate. Board members and managers see their own community. A unit owner sees their own units. A guest sees only the vehicles registered through their own link.
